1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Cloud9 RP website, submit an application, join our Discord community, or access our FiveM server. By using those services, you agree to these terms and our published server rules.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to apply. Certain public-service or justice roles may have a higher minimum age.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your Discord, FiveM, Steam, and other connected accounts secure.
- You may not impersonate another person, evade a suspension, share access, or use another person’s identity or account.
3. Community standards
You must follow the server rules, staff directions, platform rules, and applicable law. Harassment, hate speech, threats, cheating, exploiting, unauthorised access, ban evasion, and deliberately disrupting the community are prohibited.
4. Applications and moderation
Applications are reviewed by authorised Cloud9 RP staff. Admission, role assignment, moderation, suspension, and removal decisions are made to protect the community and roleplay experience. We may request more information or refuse access where an application is incomplete, misleading, or does not meet community standards.
5. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of original content you create. When you submit content to community channels or use it in the server, you give Cloud9 RP a non-exclusive permission to host, display, reproduce, and moderate it as reasonably needed to operate and promote the community. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website or server for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular player count, or continued access to any feature, role, item, or account.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law. To the extent permitted by law, Cloud9 RP is not responsible for indirect loss, loss caused by third-party platforms, or loss arising from misuse of the service.
8. Third-party services
FiveM, Discord, Steam, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Cfx.re, and other third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. Cloud9 RP is an unofficial fan community and is not endorsed by or affiliated with those organisations.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
